Last week The Huffington Post included Chekmark Eats in “The Best New York Food Blogs” round-up article (see below). I was honored, shocked and in disbelief to be called out and side by side some of my favorite websites and inspiration such as: Serious Eats, Eater and Immaculate Infatuation. This shout-out has made all of the hard work and full nights worth it.

This couldn’t have come at a better time because believe it or not, today marks the ONE YEAR anniversary of Chekmark Eats. Last year I finally took friends’ suggestions to create a blog of my restaurant recommendations/adventures, and I have loved every minute of it (and so has my stomach..). Thank you so much for all of your support, encouragement, kind words, and of course, for continuously reading, commenting and being a fan on Facebook – like the page here.
