When you take a beach scene and flip it into a fancy restaurant, BOOM… you have Tutto Il Giorno! The seating against the walls is made up of comfortable cushions similar to luxurious, poolside cabana chairs. The lighting is dim and the circular light fixture above the center table plus the sprinkled lanterns create a romantic setting. The waiters are outgoing, and the outdoor wooden deck is fun offering a lighter, casual mood. The food is expensive but not surprising –remember it’s a vacation destination. The entrees were well received (stew was a tad too creamy), but the highlight was definitely the desserts and cocktails! The molten cake oozed to perfection, and the chocolate was rich enough to keep digging in… until it vanished (apologies for the lack of a photo with exploding chocolate –lets be real, had to keep up with the forking competition). However, the one-hit wonder was definitely the Dulce de Leche homemade ice cream. Sell this on the street, Tutto, and you’ll make millions!
