Giorgio’s of Gramercy

This modest, non-showy, neighborhood Gramercy spot can be passed up way too easily. The food is rich and tasty and it’s always a convenient place to drop in when you need a restaurant in the area. The staff is considerate, accommodative and knows how to take care of their customers. The Main Lobster Linguini is one of the best seafood pastas out there and the lobster portion is generous and very tender. Split this and another dish to get a feel for the menu. The Baked Macaroni and Cheese is a bit heavy with Fontina, Smoked Cheddar and Asiago and the brussels sprouts are too saucy for comfort and enjoyment. The fish specials will always do a body good as it seems like they have really mastered the seafood elements. Giorgio’s provides the atmosphere for a business dinner and can also be used for a casual drop-in Monday night dinner. Skip the wait at other nearby restaurants and go here for a guaranteed laid-back, “home-cooked” meal.IMG_3983Brussels Sprouts
