¡Arriba! -Rayuela delivers what Nuela did not: a fun environment + great Latin food. It’s not everyday you’re walking down these city streets and pop into a restaurant where a live tree is growing inside. Upstairs, the green couch-like booths are separated by sheer, white curtains -almost making you feel like you are in a club minus the “unz unz.” Tables and booths border the restaurant and create a dual atmosphere: privacy and liveliness. Food is legit. The amount of shrimp in the paella is overly generous! Spanish wines and champagnes are refreshing, and it’s hard to say no to a second glass. Great for a double date, parents or a night out. This under-the-radar Latin dream is the LES best kept secret.
Love this place, the lobster guac was really good and the rolls were great too!
